I can't believe it's December already! I was curious about what everyone does around this time of year. I know it's winter for some of us, summer for others, and some of us celebrate a particular holiday or another, while others do not. What do you do? What significance does this month hold for you, if any?

Personally, my family usually gets together and celebrates. They family is basically all Christian faith, except me, but I gladly celebrate Christmas a a time to spend visiting my family and telling them I love them. We gather at my parents' or grandmother's house to exchange gifts, eat good food, and usually watch a movie or two. For me, it's winter, and I live in a rather cold area, so it's usually pretty snowy for the holiday. I think of a warm fire, cool air outside, fat snowflakes falling lazily from the sky. It's a good time of year to cozy up with a blanket in a comfy corner somewhere and read a book.
